was born in the south of Morocco. In his familial medium and multi – ethnic sociely, or everyone practised the folk music, said heritages a rich Culture which reflects the diversity of Moroccan culture. Naturally, the Gnawi style was brought to Morocco in the 16th century by the African slaves occupy a particular place in the creations of the artist. But Said opens this style over modern time by working on the texts of the contemporary Moroccan poets. Said Tichiti is the only member of his family who could follow an academic and artistic formation. He studied at the High Institute of Drama in Rabat (ISADAC ). Since 1998, he has been established in Budapest, where he founded his own Band called Chalaban Group. He produced 6 albums and one 1 album in solo.

transcend social and genre-based frameworks by creating an artistic community,
soaring with the songs and freedom of birds.

Geboren in der kurdischen Kleinstadt Varto, wuchs Sakîna Teyna mit Deyiş - den poetischen alevitischen Gesangstraditionen - auf. Ihre

künstlerische Laufbahn begann sie in den frühen 1990er-Jahren als Sängerin am MKM (Mesopotamisches Kulturzentrum) in Istanbul.
Nach einer Phase politischer Aktivität zog sie 2006 nach Österreich, wo sie ihr erstes Soloalbum Royê Mi veröffentlichte, 2011 das Trio Mara gründete und 2015 Sakîna & Friends ins Leben rief. Heute bereichert sie die internationale Musikszene mit ihrer mehrsprachigen Stimme, Geschichten aus Kurdistan und einem starken Engagement für Frauen- und Menschenrechte. Im Zentrum von Sakînas neuem Projekt SÛRET steht die reiche Tradition der kurdischen Makams. Diese komplexen Melodiesysteme mit ihren einzigartigen Tonalitäten und mikrotonalen Nuancen öffnen den Zugang zu neuen Klangwelten. Durch die Verbindung mit Elementen der klassischen Musik und des zeitgenössischen Jazz erschaffen Sakîna und ihr Ensemble einen Dialog zwischen Tradition
und Innovation.
